well i did post this a while back but some bodys elses thread made me wnat to post it again so here

US - federal age 16


i think this picture needs to be updated as some of the consents around the world have changed.

People here have sex 14-18 in toronto.

Meh, its all a load of crap anyway, if a kids going to have sex then ther gunna have sex regardless of age of consent is.
All this "No sex before your such and such age" is just going to make some kids who like to rebel do it.
Most kids feel that rules like that are made to be broken and that ther mature doing something thats strictly for older peeps.

the whole 9 being the age of consent seems a little bit off. Maybe they just dont have one. I cant see anybody (who hasnt got serious problems) turning round and encouriging kids to have sex, if so, thats just sick.

It's 14 here in Spain and that map shows a lower age, looks like 12 to me (the colour).

I remember it used to be 12 in the UK many hundreds of years ago. But that's before sex was just an add-on to a relationship. Rather than a serious matter just to keep a family going.

Lol I just re-read what I wrote. I remember hearing it in a History lesson or Leisure and Tourism lesson (same teacher). Not that I was actually there in the times of this age, which was sometime in the 1800s :P

I can't see how the 9 year old one works. Surely they wouldn't be capable of holding a baby? Maybe in that county they're used for pleasure purposes until they're older? Only thing I can think of. Then again, I don't know when a girl actually starts releasing eggs :rolleyes:

and nah, there doesnt need to be any kind of permission slip, just spoken permission from both sides of the family. (I think)

Lol, my state has the 2nd lowest age of consent in the U.S. (14/16).

Most places are male - male illegal and lesbian is allowed that is sooo unfair.

i think 15/16 is a good legal age.

9 = WAY 2 YUNG
21 = ***, lets just have sex anyway....
