It's very unprofessional, and technically he shouldn't, but if you don't tell I'm sure he won't.
Meeh, my old drama teacher gets me drunk everytime i see him and one of my old teachers made me magic mushroom tea, he wasn't your average teacher mind.
Nothing wrong with it, there people too, they like having fun.
Magic mushrooms are dodgey aparently :l I havent tried any drugs except for my inhaler XD. I dont think thats right really. Not the best example.
The school i went to after yr9 was more like a youth club so he wasnt like a proper teacher more like a youth worker but we counted him as a teacher cos he urhm taught us stuff and we had to call the youth club school...
I'd say... hes not setting a good example so technically hes in the wrong... but who looks up to teachers anyway? to be honest I dont really care what my teachers did if anything you can relate to them more when they are like you :]
it isn't school time.. so why would it be wrong?

Having a drink is ok but drugs is a different matter :o they want random drug tests in schools so i suggest they start it on the teachers before the pupils ;) tell the headmaster get him fired :D

it isnt on school premises so technically theres probably not alot you can do but its not right and not a very good example to you or your friends.

Then it's wrong. That teacher should be fired because a teacher is supposed to be a role model to the students.

Thank you but if the teacher decides to do something to you because you baited out their scene then obv that teacher KNOWS they did something wrong.
As long as he didn't like pressure you into it or whatever, I don't really see the big deal. Or if he was like bummin' weed or alcohol off you, then I'd say that's pretty dumb.

It's not setting a good example I guess but at the end of the day it's his life, let him do what he wants.

I wouldn't take drugs personally I think it is quite stupid to be honest and he should really be ashamed he teaches pupils who use what he teaches to grow into young adults and he takes drugs, on of the many things the schools tell pupils to avoid.

If you're underaged then legally it's wrong. erm...him smoking weed with you isn't exactly a good influence either...moral wise it's wrong. practical wise, well if you were all doing it, then whatever really.
Ooer, even though it's out of school surely if he got found out it would comprimise his job position but obviously he has a life outside of school..

It is wrong, blatently, people can say that they live their own lifes ect. but at the end of the day they are your teachers, it is completely unethical, considering they are meant to be role models and to guide you, but instead you have a teacher who smokes pot with you, that is messed up.

Your teacher is not setting a good example, BUT on the other hand you were smoking weed, so why shouldn't he?
I suppose it's WRONG because teachers should be setting good examples.

It is up to the teacher but the teacher should be the one telling the kids not to smoke weed because it's inappropriate. He/she is supposed to be setting a good example not a bad one which he/she is doing atm.Quote:
