I've had it for a while, my knees, ankles, wrists, hips constantly crack and is often painful, I don't mean to crack them either, they do it by themselves.

I would surgest you doo mroe exercies ( sorry if you doo it alredy)
and if it still hurts after a while try going too see a doctor.
I do lots of exercises.
and I aint registered with a doctor yet 'cause i've only just moved ;]
I would surgest looking through some health tips and maybee even some sites.
May i ask how old you are. its too doo with my next peice of help.

I dont know though.. i've had it for years, it seemed to have gotten worse since I got "run over" (it wasn't bad, and I can't tell my mum about it)
;O I think the best thing too do is tell your mum the truth becuase 'betting run over' could be the cause of this.
i would go too a doctor, A + E maybe get it scaned ;)
i get that too sometimes.. is it when you try and do something like straighten your leg and it wont then it just goes "CRACK" ?

i get it too. its best if you try & not to do it if you can help it because you will develop arthritis in later life.
when rollercoasters run, they rely on G-forces.
its quite simple to see whats been going on, in the short time soph lived in england, she visited alton towers too often, therefore, whilst on rollercosters the g forces simply pulled bones away from one another, leaving gaps for small air bubbles to fill in the spaces -shows chart-

It has been proven that cracking your bones DOES NOT cause arthritis. I can crack my knuckles, toes, kneck, back, knees and i've had no problems. Read the quote below for more info.

Cracking your knuckles can cause a decrease in your grip but unless you're signing any multi-million dollar contracts as a pitcher, it's not worth giving up. But it's still annoying.

THE MOST COMMON REASONS:
1. The joints are properly lubricated!
2. Compression in the joints or bone resulting in a 'clicking' sound. The contents of this gas bubble are thought to be mainly carbon dioxide.
3. two cartilage surfaces are pressed together, they form adhesions, and when the joints are separated this makes the popping or cracking sound.
Make sure your flexible, stretch alot and with your neck its important that you dont ROLL your neck around when stretching it. The neck vertebrae is very small and delicate.
Doctor says its common but if it doesnt cause pain or anything you really shouldnt worry about it!

mi body parts crack. its normalish... i think
This happens to my sister a lot, she says something at air bubbles something like that building up :S

I have this in my knees the doctor says its caused by softening in the bone. You should try gently stretching the joints and also try doing lots of exerscise if you dont already.
OMG! I have the ankle cracking. I don't know what it is but can be dangerous. Sometimes, I sprain my ankles just by running && it really kills. && when I walk it cracks for no reason. It doesn't stop. Not even once. If you find out what it is Soph let me know. I really am worried about it.
