Didnt get many presents, Just got money. Got £5000 in total. But it just didnt feel right.
And my brother and parents were fighting but thats a different story...
Anyone else felt like that?
I find it hard to believe you'd get £5000 for your b day.
I 2nd that :]Quote:

Because it really didnt feel like a birthday, thats why i wanna see what other people thought off theres and stuff.. Like does this happen at chrismas when you get older too? Do your parents not bother about it as much?
ooer 5grand.. oh mumma.. not worth losing a gran tho =[ but anway on my last birthday me mum had a fight with me and my sis at once.. meh happy days aye? lol.
:P They do seem pretty stressful days some times.
But what my brother did/is now is something pretty hard to take in =/
When you get older, it's not quite as exciting. Same with Christmas :)
And what would he being doing right about now?Quote:

Normally when you say in total it means that you got from various sources, rather than just one that you later said you got it from...Quote:

My birthday was **** lol. I got a new moped and money and that BUT, my girlfriend got with two of my mates :(
well my last bday was rubbish because the day before, i went to my uncles funeral.
I get a small fraction of that for my birthday. possibly £100 if i'm lucky. heh
lol you didn't get a lot did you...
things seem to be less exiting as you get older. imagine what its gonna be like when your about 50 :| no excitement left at all ):
its in the past now. so theres not much to change it. but try and lift your mood up a bit might help with your nxt bday?
xx
Good idea! 17 birthday woot woot, Learn to drive :o
If people give me a rubbish birthday I try and give them the best possible birthday ever and making them feel bad :P
havent had a holiday that felt right since my operation.
birthdays, christmas, easter and even that summer feeling all gone.
My 16th & 17th birthday was boring but I didn't let it show.
From your post it looks like your being a tad bit ungrateful.
Sorry to hear that your nan died I had to burry my grandfather today and have had many relatives die so I know how it feels to loose a loved one.
As said loads of times as you get older things become less fun.
I still enjoy summer as I'm out with my friends practically every single day, but I don't enjoy much else, going on holiday, christmas, easter, I have never enjoyed halloween because it's pointless just an excuse for big companies to make more money.
I've definately noticed Christmas isn't what it used to be when I was younger. Birthdays are the same pretty much. I don't have partys like I used to. I just get money and a few gifts.Quote:

ok here we go:
- Sorry to hear about your nan
- If your birthday is starting to get boring then do something different. Something you don't do normally like a theme park, holiday or anything.
- Just remember who's day it is
- Xmas is a time when your family and freinds gets together and if that gets boring plan something everyone can do and afford.
