ctrl + alt + del all a list comes up tell him to deleted messenger all of them should work.
EDIT: Tell him try like click it like 100 times. all together all 3 of them
The del above the up , down , left , right.
end process to all msnmsgr.exe
Mine does this, tell him to sign on as appear offline so you dont get people talking whilest your computer sorts itself out and to not click anything until it loads.
This should work =]
yh, try signing in appearing offline.
do mine and graces one should work.
do what others say and if they dont work, tell him to just reinstall it
He has re-installed it, didn't work, Dubble i dont understand what you mean :s, i will tell him to try graces, ty all.
Hmm let me get this straight
so if he logs in the screen just freezes? how long can i ask ?
Well sign in offline... If not then make sure other applications are closed when he opens it so that it uses less RAM up...
Try this:
Start > Run
regsvr32 Softpub.dll
regsvr32 Mssip32.dll
regsvr32 Initpki.dll
Also make sure that theres hardly any other applications open.
just download a different version? what version is he on?
Try uninstalling and installing the newest version?!
Mine work?
I have this problem too, I get an error code come up (can't remember it offhand) and i'm still trying to figure out what to do to sort it.
Use AIM :P
When I had WLM I had loads of problems, this one sometimes but more often it would just sign me out randomly. What you need to do is uninstall it and download an old version (I use 7.5). It won't have the newest features but it's still decent and most importantly it works. I prefer this version anyway tbh.
Yeah, It's his account then.
OK, try clearing some catch for msn if it has one?
Then, give me the email of the guy who mucked up his comp and I'll give him some of his own medicine =]
That happened to me once, my friend had spammed me with ofline messages, took about 30 mins to load, he shoud wait bout half an hour or use a messenger like www.e-buddy.com :)
