I recently got an xbox 360 and I cant really afford any of the new games and I just wanted to know if halo 2 is a good game to buy.

I didn't use to like FPS' but I've got used to them and they're alright.

halo 2 isn't worth getting now. you can pick up rainbow six vegas for £25 or graw for £18. they're your best fps/tps bets in my opinion.
After playing GoW so much, I picked up Halo 2 and found its online multiplayer to suck. It's nothing compared to Gears online.

Gears is repetitive IMO, if you like FPS games go for it
Halo and CoD are the only real decent shooters I've played on 360, Gears of War is an amazing game but tbh the online sucks, it's boring, you hardly get put against people of the same skill level as you, it's just boring online really, co-op is ok but it's more fun to solo gears
Still loving Gears of War, that's probably because i'm good, not to blow my own horn but alot of people don't like this game online cos they suck.
