I decided to start playing runescape for the first time.

Had alota help from a couple of experienced mates explaining things to me, so far so good, i think im getting addicted.

Thanks guys, as you can see i've got a long way to go! Any tips for gaining fishing levels fast? currently lvl 40 as you can see. Should i start on the lobbies on Karamja or stick with the salmon in Barbarian village?

Fly fishing.
Lobbies would be slow at that level.

PS: Do fly Fishing it is a lot faster

stick with salmon its fast and decent exp
wait til about 50 for lobs

Nice fishing lvl :o , good luck playing runescape its pretty good if you get used to it :)
you should stay fly fishing because lobbies r pretty crap when ur f2p

Ye, as said before fly fishing is fastest so just stick to that.

Which i faster experience, flyfishing at lvl 50 catching loads of salmon and trout, or catching lobs slowly at lvl 50?

I thought so, is fly fishing the fastest xp gainer throughout the whole thing? Or is there a certain level where is better to harpoon or cage?

Yes it is im 99 and its still fastest closely followed by monkfish

Yeh, Flyfishing is the fastest monkfish are good as well.
I would only recommend fishing lobsters or Sharks (If your a member) if you need to make some money.
