It depends you know, because people have come and left and people could've got better/worse.

Also, there's such a vast array of different designers and coders.

Say,

Me, Simon and Kieron all do pixel layouts.

Maybe different styles but you can still say which ones look nicer.

Mentor (Carl) for coding.

I'm not sure about designers really I've seen allot of good designers on the forum to be honest.

[oli] is by far the best designer.
nets is very good at coding.

Oli's layouts are just unique not the best they have some of the major errors in design.

Ozzie. You cant actually judge as Adam said.

Its personal preference.

I dont like 'grunge', 'filled' layouts, I prefer sleek and clean. Others have different views.

I really don't mind C&C, but you have to tell me the erros, not keep them with you :p

- It all looks good and proffesional, yet it looks dull the text used in the logo doesnt actually feel like it represents the site, and the site is dull which also doesnt make the USER fill that this site is about holidays and its going to be a good one, its all about the user.

:) But then again i see designs like that racing cart one which imo is perfect and doesnt need anything else to it. who knows

this thread shouldnt have really been started as it will be turned into one big argument and who cares all i really care about is making my self and helping others to get better so we can all learn instead of squabble about who is the best

That Entor110110 or w/e the numbers are guy is great at coding.

I.E The thybag.co.uk guy

Also I don't have a top 3 I know alot good designers etc like Sygon, Oli blah blah and lots good coders like Nets, Carl etc ;D

Yeah, that travel one, the logo is the one of the company itself, it is placed on all their cars and busses etc... so I can not change that.

And, well.. Client is King as they say... I just follow orders of the Client, he wanted a more playfull design. He has already agreed on the design so...

Like I just finished one which i'm getting €500 for, which is COMPLETLY not my style, but if thats what the client wants, thats what i'll give them ;p

Anyway thank you for your comment/opinion.

I'll keep those in mind for my future projects i got lined up.

At the end of the first post it says 'What do you think?'. Blatently asking for your opinion.

Hehe, well yeah, .. In july/august i'm going for a "business" trip to New York for someone's site. And to Tunisia for that travel design.

I will talk to them, and might edit the design etc.

I don't have a TOP, everybody likes different styles, and sygon & joe Comins and all the other designers, they make several designs,.. some i like, some i dislike... thats the way of life :p

A company will not replace all there logos because it does't go with one of there site layouts.

Well i read an article once, about client guides or whatever. that the client actually would like to help with input aswell, would you seriously con a person out of 100 pounds if they wanted you to design a really crappy web layout? i would atleast give my view.

If i go to a resterant, order chicken and they give me turkey becuse they think its better, im not going to be to happy. a waiter may make a suggestion to whats nice, but thats all, they don't go and decide for you, no ones going to pay for something they didn't ask you to make.
Just because you think something looks crap, it doesn't mean they do.

Personally I don't think there are any good designers on habboxforum, I've seen a few templates that stand out against the rest on here, but some of the competition on here isn't that great.

As for coders, I don't really know any decent coders either - I'm sure there probably are but I haven't actually spoke to any of them.

I'm not slating you, some of you persevere design alot which is good.

All I am saying is, I don't think there are any good designers on this forum..

This is what I call a good designer with reasonable prices, I think he starts from $150 upwards.
