16 isnt the same as adult if thats what you ment by the forward slash. You cant get all jobs when your 16 due to health & safety.Quote:

I'm quite sure the following is true:
-minimum wage is £3.00 at 16
-you can work a maximum of 40 hours a week
-you can work a maximum of 6 days a week
-some places won't hire you until you're 16 and 7 months (no idea why)
Not sure though. Best to check websites :)
i'm sure min wage for 16-17 yr olds is a little higher now.
