Technically it is still the period of Easter, up until Ascension Day, which is where Jesus returned to heaven. I'm not entirely sure but as far as I remember it's 40 days after Easter Sunday.

In Eastern Christianity it is Easter from early April to early May. I don't know why but that's what it says on Wikipedia. :pQuote:
