Lump under eye

K iv had a baddy eye all week. At first i thought id knocked it at the weekend somehow and it was just bruised (pain like that)

today i was mouisturising and realied there a pea sized lump about a cm underneth my eye. Its all hard and stuff.
I thought it might be a sty but aparently u only get them on your lids and they dont feel like bruises.

Anybody know what this is?
Im going to the nurse tomorrow for some jabs so il ask them about it but its bugging me tonight.

oh yea, u cant really see it unless i pull the skin on either side of it and then thers like a little bump almost like thers something underneath my skin

It's probs a cyst, ive had one in my eye. Then about a year later, i had one big giant lump about an inch in diameter on my face, had it forabout a year, it's like a big purple ball. So yeah, go doctor get it sorted, quick.
Also a cyst can turn into cancer if you leave it too long, get it checked out

I had something like a cyst on the back of my head when i was a kid but it was quite big and i had to have a full on op on it.

Hope they dont have to cut my face :|

If it felt bruised its probably a stye
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stye Theres some info. Its just caused by an eyelash that gets infected, nothing to worry about I get them all the time, feels like you've been punched, it'll go away in 4-5 days.

yeh like i said. Its about a cm BELOW my eyelashs/ bottom lid

You can get stye's underneath the eye, Its not very common but it happens.

Ah right, prob just that then. Its not hurting real bad or anything. Just anoying mee.
Someone told me you could only get them on your eyelids.

Its under the skin so i cant. And its really hard ;o

It got too big over the weekend so i went to the docs today and they said it was an infected cyst abcess sort of thing and hav given me some cruddy antibioitics and sed i mite need it cut out.
i look like the elephant girl...

If i get infracted for double posting i will cry

A cyst can turn into cancer!? Somebody said the lumps in my ears may be cysts, ah well cya. :P

Oooh Bef :o I was right, they gave me anti-biotics first, they didnt work but they get rid of ALL Your spots after about 3-4 months cause a cyst is also another form of strong ance. But yeah, now i have none and it's good :] + when you get it cut out, you can choose to go to sleep or not, i chose to go to sleep cause i was 12 :P But yeah, it doesn't hurt but you wont be able to blink for a while. because they put stuff around your eye when they operate near it or on it :] Hope your okays.
