I don't have a desk coz i sit my lap top on my knee.
my desk is always tidy
Well atm I'm on the laptop on my bed ;D
But at home my desk is really messy but I clean it often, it needs it.
How the hell can you work with that? Lol
Seriously that would bug me :P I'm quite a neat freak lol so my room is always realy tidy and my desk just has the essentials - keyboard, mouse etc. :)
I couldn't live with all that mess! :P
I have a small black table for my laptop theres only room for the laptop and the mouse so its not messy at all =]
All I have on my desk to make it messy is a can of Diet coke I'm drinking.

Actually mine is very untidy.
Depends really.
Normally, my desk only has, speakers, laptop, webcam, and tv controls.
But, sometimes i have random crap on it, and seeing as it's a small desk, it gets messy easy.
