If you read his "last words" that wasn't the only problem he had, The point is that the only thing that kept him going was his friends then his best friend betrayed him. This on top of everything else was it for him and he chose to end his life.Quote:

You can't say he's a loser for all the problems he had. Runescape was just the base of one of his problems, where his best friend hacked him and took all his stuff. As the article said, he lost his 'last friend' and decided enough was enough. He was doing bad at home, school etc. and that was the last straw. I can't believe you guys have the sheer indecency to laugh at that; a 14 year old dieing, a child dieing.
I find it sad that he didn't go to find help but obviously his only friends were of his clan (mentioned in the article if you had the idea to read it) and to him, there was no way out. Poor guy, I do feel sorry for his misfortune. :(

Then these guys came and raided it and it was a diaster.
They killed everyones characters and the funeral was cancelled.
The guy died in r/l too and he had an Online and offline funeral.
Yes I remember that lol. It was on a PVP server so people on the opposite faction went and ganked everyone there.

Hmmm, he had problems with school? Maybe the problems with school were due to his irrational love for Runescape? That topping it all is a petty excuse to kill yourself. In one of the links, he is described as a '**** because apparently he was alot like one in real life.

wth when I nicked one of my friends' furni off Habbo a couple of years back (he was semi-rich at the time) he cried but didn't kill himself.
Oh also another one of my friends shat himself playing a game because he didn't want to leave the room in case his group lost the run they were doing.
