Ive had Crackdown for a while now and did not just buy it for the BETA extras. I heard somewhere that youre only allowed 3 hours playing time, is this true? :S
Before i download it i just want to check if there are any restrictions ;)

So is the date mentioned in the article below a date by which time you have to download the BETA to use it or is it a date that after which point all BETA games will be removed until the actual release?

It's when the BETA ends, it was extened to the 10th because of the Crackdown issue, when it hits the 10th I guess the option on Crackdown disappears and all servers shut down until the 25th September
So on the 10th the BETA will stop working until the 25th of Sept, leaving only 20 days playing time?
Yep, we're lucky to play at all so that's good in my opinion :P

I haven't downloaded yet, cos I cba at the minute. I never really liked Halo 2, couldn't get into it. Although I was kinda excited about Halo 3 beta cos of the hype. so is there much difference to Halo 2 to convert me?

I just love team slayer tbh :P it's fun, easier than other modes I think, only problem is you're team very rarely helps you out, it's like team solo slayer or something, and then the enemy attacks your base on Valhalla, fun though, I'm not too bothered about my level, I want to get my rank up cause that looks cooler but it's more about the fun right now :P gonna expect an achievement like
Spartan Elite - Complete mission mode on Legendary Difficulty - 50-100 Gamerscore
Multiplayer Champion - Gain rank level 50 online - 25-50 Gamerscore
or something like that xD

Lol I'm Corporal right now, it's really good though. I've played around 25-26 matches and my total skill is like 9 now. :> I usually play the Slayer mode, I feel that Team Slayer is just a tad bit annoying when you have people; A) betraying you or B) getting in your way and overall being annoying. I prefer to go solo.. and it pays off. :D
My first map was Snowbound, even though I've been playing Valhalla and High Ground quite a bit (HG especially, even though it's annoying lol) and I was like, "Wow these graphics are amazing, and I haven't even got HD!" It's that good. Anyone who ain't got it, get it. :)
Ive got it in HD and it is just plain incredible graphics wise ;)

Yeah my first game is displayed here. It was a pretty good match for me since I was only just getting the hang of it, and I hadn't played Halo in what.. a couple of months? I think I've had 2 games on Halo 2 Multiplayer and thats it, so pretty good for 3rd time. :P
EDIT: Whoa.. Seems I've never played one match, according to Bungie anyway.
I hadnt played in over a year and i just jumped back into it today. I can see why i loved the game so much in the first place. Although i hope the reason i quit halo 2 doesnt come back to make me quit halo 3 :(
What was the reason you quit Halo 2? It's a pretty good game on Single player and the Multiplayer maps were decent, however I never played it on Live because I didn't have a 360 then and when I did, I played on PGR3 and G.R.A.W, followed by Gears and Rainbow 6. :P It also ends for ALL players on June 10th, so that means I've had a game in hand technically. Woop. xD

Play it when you get the chance, it's insanely fun on Snowbound and Valhalla, not so much High Ground. Try grabbing the turret on the building off High Ground, you can detach it and run around with it; so funny ;D
I do that all the time :P But I prefer the AR or the BR mind you. I usually carry both of them :P
Hehe, I usually carry a shotgun and a sniper, or a shotgun and brute shot. The game is so easy to adapt to!
Wow, i'm surprised, I really didn't think i'd like it. But damn it's bloody awesome! I'm new to Halo games and I must say it's easy to get used to, i'm getting fairly decent kill death ratios.
