im guessing the higher the number, the more mainstream

well, more top 2, seeing as radiohead and rhcp are the most 'mainstream' bands on last.fm (apart from maybe the beatles and maybe even coldplay?)

without fugazi, 2pac, the misfits and maybe a few others it would be a lot lower.
but it's silly that fugazi gets 16.32% on mainstreamness, when they deliberately spent their whole careers avoiding tv, radio coverage, magazine interviews, and keeping their shows at a $5 fixed price.

but that's just my input.

so i am trve underground.
