Get 300 rep and you can give out -rep
That would be fair. This way it would encourage people to post.
But that would also encourage people to pointlesy rep each other / ask for rep to be able to -rep?Quote:

I think they should have to get like 300+ rep points or posts then they can -rep?

We can set it so only silver members and above can -rep if people prefer that.

This will lower the amount of work put in the report reputation problems, And it will cut down the reputation pointless comments because most people just make a new account do a few posts, get people to rep them and then they have another account for -reping people.
Well the fairest way then, maybe, would be to have a poll.
1. To see if there is a demand for it.
and
2. To see whether to disable -rep under silver members is agreed with.

absolutely nothing wrong with the current system. it's annoying that people who get -repped frequently (perhaps because they deserve it?) are like, omgz lets get rid of -rep.
if you stop doing whatever you doing to gain -rep, there won't be a problem.
i believe the "only silver members & above" thing is silly, because there are users who don't post alot & are good members of the forum and they deserve the right to be able to disagree with something that somebody has said.
Leave it. Just because people cry when they get -rep it doesnt mean you should change it. and on the silver member thing, if you'd just joined, and someone flamed you or w/e or you disagreed with someone, you'd want to be able to minus rep them. Put yourself in the situation.
I don't actually care, because I don't bother to report pointless rep unless it's like -5 or above.

Additionally, I don't think that post counts should be the way to judge. If anything, it should be how long they have been here though I'm not sure its possible. Plenty of people have low amounts of posts and played a HUGEEE role in Habbox. I'll give you a prime example. Anitar, one of the original FMs who was here for ages and played a huge role in HabboxForum being successful has 366 posts. She would not be able to rep despite all she did for the forum.

No one should be able to have rep removed, pointless or not. Since alot of people just seem to get any negative rep removed, regardless of weather it was valid or not. People should also no longer get free rep, or be able to buy rep. If that were done, firstly there would be less work for the manager in charge of rep, the only rep that needs to be delt with is if it breaks one of the forums actual rules.
