Should I be bothered by this...

I've been with my girlfriend for a year.
It's getting a bit rough now... we argue a lot... I wish we would sort it out...

So I spoke to her... I pretty much told her that if she doesn't stop trying to argue with me about random things and let me down on things all the time (my last birthday she said she was taking me out - I was left without a present, without a card, and to this day she's never taken me out for that birthday she promised - lots of other things she does, and it's mounted up now).

She couldn't appologize enough - I do think she's really sorry but there's one thing that's got me thinking.

She txt'd me to "come over on saturday i got a free house ;);) if u kno wa i mean... i know ur ****** off and probably dont want to but its the only way i can think of to show u how much i love you".

Okay... yeah, sex is good... and i'm damn tempted to take her up on the offer... but yeah, she's right... I am ****** off...
But if thats "the only way" she can think of showing me how much she loves me, should I even bother for morale reasons?

I'm at conflict here... my concience is telling me that it's not right... but all my mind can think about is the sex I could be getting.

Consider if shes cheating on you, my girlfriend truly loves me and never forgets things like my birthday, if someone forgets that then... wow..

I very much doubt it. I'm pretty well known around here - and people talk a lot.
I think many people realise the implications of cheating with my girlfriend, and I doubt she'd do it anyway.

Besides, every spare minute she pretty much spends with me (except the past few weeks when I've stayed away with her 'cause she's ******* me off)

Borrow a friends phone, text her and ask her if she loves you (in 3rd person) - That's one way to catch people out. If she replies as you would hope, then all is good, and prehaps she has realised the error of her ways. :)

Thing is, she'd always say 'Yes', 'cause quite a lot of people know me, and she knows people tell me stuff...

Hell even her friends started to ***** at her last time we had an argument.

she could just be using you, if it was me id dump her theres far better girls out there than that.
sex isnt all its made out to be, if its your first time dont look back with regrets

Yes thats the best way, or just read her texts, but ask her first.

Maybe you do spend all the time with her, but you still need to consider the possibilities.

Me and my girlfriend spend all the time we have free together, but i know shes not cheating on me because we're open with each other and we both even agree on reading each others texts to please another.

Plus we've had sex before and have done on many occasions, and we do it all the time, so you wouldn't really cheat on someone you've had sex with really would you? it isn't morally right.

If your girlfriend IS asking you for sex, then maybe she does love you, as you don't just have sex with any boyfriend you pick up (chavs and ***** maybe, but not someone who, in my case, i've been with for 1 1/2 years!)

Just speak openly to her about it, i'm sure she'll understand if she really does love you.

Then stop being such a "bad ***" and tell her how you feel properly to her face, see what she says as you can then tell by emotions. If she's scared to leave you, that won't help things - Will it?

yeah, why not? he's been messed about by her, so why shouldn't she be messed about by him.. plus if she's offering it, would you turn it down?

We do read each others texts... I just don't do it often cause I still think she's human and deserves privacy too.
I'm 99% sure that there's no chance of her cheating on me.
We've been together a year now and even though we're both pretty ****** off now, we're still very very close.

I have told her to her face.
I don't think you realise how hard it is for me to tell her stuff to her face either - it's not cowardice, it's just that I'm one of those types who prefers not to argue and maintain an easy life.
