You mean a file directory? That's kind of illegal if I am correct therefore gaining access is hacking. You can normally view the image directory but not file directory with webpages and such, it depends but normally it doesn't allow access.

If it did, how would you acess it.

Normally they don't show, I'm not into website creating and how they work etc so I wouldn't know how the folders are designed but for example Habbox Forum's image directory is:
http://www.habboxforum.com/images/

..change the url to whatever the site is and the images to whatever the directory is called :S

Yeh it is illegal and why would a website let you view there direcetorys?

Then you would just steal there content, which is hacking

Since when was it illgal? Plus its easy, just type the location of the directory in ya browser and it will show.
The only times it wont are when:
A: the directorys been protected / locked
B: it contains an Index page, which by defult it will fetch when no page has been specifided.

Granted nether of those a true, you just go there and it'll show.

they arent that stuipid to just have a /images

Why? Is there some reason people should be scared of letting someone view the images directory? ive personally got nothing against it and its free to view on mine? The images are visible on the site anyway, seems stupid to block access to the dir o.0

Yes, but most big/popular sites will protect there directories so that no1 steals there content and uses it.
