How come staff dont get in trouble for breaking the rules?
ive reported the post and nothing has been done about it?
they still need to follow the rules there is no where stating they dont have too no matter how high ranking they are.

a mod has to PM nvrspk4 to sort it out because mods can't deal wtih staff infractions.
Staff do get punished, take earthquake as an example ;)
If your talking about the fact you reported the post were I bumped an announcement then..I am allowed to bump announcements so people are aware of them :).
MAD
Lmao, its been in the rules a long time that if you want an announcement to be noticed as other have posted over it, you can "Request a Bump" to make it more noticiable. You can only request these off the GM, and obviously ---MAD--- wanted to make the helpdesk announcement more noticeable.
Okies then sorry:)
Just out of interest, since he is the forum manager, who were you expecting to deal with the problem? he's not going to infraction himself now is he?
i got fired :D
y did earthquake and milto?
Lets say sierk bumped a thread a few days old in the announcements , what would you do? report him to ---mad--- and ban the owner of habbox
but he bumped it because it was posted yesterday and to show that it was opening today. and it had threads on top of it, so it wasn't seen
just because you don't see staff punished, it doesn't mean they aren't punished.
& lol @ people reporting mad. that's seriously amusing.
Even sierk couldnt actualyl infract him lol
Admins cant infract other admins
I agree to an extent. Bumping announcements is okay in my opinion as they always do it and it's just to make important announcements at the top but if they are breaking other rules (e.g swearing/spamming/abusive) etc then it's kind of unfair if they are aloud to do it. But bumping an announcement is hardly breaking a rule, yeah it's bumping and double posting but there manager(s) and it's upto them. :S I'm not saying just because there managers there aloud to break rules but c'mon they've probably helped wright them etc so they do abide by them otherwise it'll be being a hyprocrite. Meh. :D
Doesn't vB have a bump option so that you don't have to make a new 'bump' post?
I can see it now, 30 or so threads in these forums by people trying to get 10 minutes of fame about how managers can break the rules and how unfair it is. :P
Okay, what did you think would happen. He's the general manager, he was BUMPING an announcment which was important. Did you expect him to get infractioned or something =/
ok other than MAD
I have noticed alot of staff members seem to be rude towards members which would get any normal member an infraction. I'm don't want to name any names or report the posts because I'm not a grass I'm just saying :)
