when they were banned, they avoided the filter which was against the rules back then.

and now if you swear at another person = same consequence.

Like someone said, you were banned for swearing when that rule was still there, and just because the rule doesn't exist now, doesn't mean they should be unbanned. Also, you could of been banned for swearing at others, which is still a bannable offense.

No, it's just like Habbox Forum. When we change the rules, you don't get infractions reversed that were related to the old or modified rules. By being a member of Habbo, you're expected to follow the rules at that time, even if they do decide to change them later.
Well, if you swear towards someone, you should be banned. If not, its ok :)

I think that even now if people avoid the filter they should get banned, because it'll come up for people under the age of 13 and the people who don't want to know.
you should be able to communicate to others without swearing. So i think you should be banned for swearing.
