He dosn't mean it that way, he ment it that they say you're not allowed to use 3rd party software to play the game, when they clearly use it for the appeal system. I can confirm this since I got a black mark for real life trading and said 'Aliens attacked' and it was succesful..
Its the use of 3rd party software to give you an advantage in the game thats forbidden =/, do you really think they have enough people to personally type every reply to every person who has a query, i mean theyve got over 1 million members...
They aren't exactly hypocrites are they though? You use a autoing program or whatever so you can get your levels up and not do any of it, and RS use it to send emails and crap out quicker. If they did all that by hand it would take them ages.

Yes but if you're trying to sell something and typing out "selling full guthans with spear 8m ----NAME HERE------" or whatever that takes ages and if you use an auto typer it's deemed against the rules, them being allowed to use bots to send messages faster seems a bit unfair if we can't use a bot to send messages fasterQuote:

I'm not exactly against autoing, it's a game not like it matters, if you used autoing to help kill someone then yea there's a line but something like auto-chat should be allowed if you do it responsibly, like once every 10 seconds, almost everyone on W2 does it anyway, it's not an advantage, when people are stupid with it then yea it's annoying but I don't think it's fair you can't if you're sensible
