To be honest, I doubt they'll say it was a great failure...

I have a mixed opinion with this. Firstly, wouldn't the Announcements forum be pretty much empty without them? Secondly, they're not exactly amazing events, and people don't really care whether they were at the event or not.

EDIT:

It says theman0001 helped out and won, that does not seem right to me for some strange reason :S

This does kind of annoy me. I think it actually gets to a point where the events staff are trying to out-do each other with the wording they use.

eg.

'Falling Furni, Success!'
'Musical Statues Great Success!'
'Races Brilliant Success'
'Disco SUPER Success'

I like the idea of the second thread because I don't go to most of the events and I like to see what the room was like.

Maybe they could post some sort of information thread about the event aftwards?

Seriously, how does this deserve a thread of it's own? It's harmless, it hardly effects the way you use the forum. If you think they're unnecessary because they block other announcements then it's sheer laziness on your behalf. All you have to do is click the announcements forum. I don't see anything wrong with it. & Lozzoling, Habbox have never been original - so don't get them started.
