Sponging people.

mmm ye im not racist or anything but asylum seekers, they have to seek asylum in the first country that they land in but 99% of them are coming through tens of coutrys to england because they know they will get money, a house, job if wanted, they even get a mobile phone if they want. And us tax payers are paying for them. My dad said that they should have to work for their bread and butter which i feel is true. Were i am they are re-opening the canal system they saying it will take min of 5 years to dig out, get all the asylum seekers down their n it will only take a week. I mean if they second country they go to they get booted out they just seem to work their way to england, Why dont the stop n go to iceland? I mean come on Gordon Brown, kik em all out, it will improve this country 500% with all the billions of extra money.

Sorry but ye i really dont agree with it. Get bak to your own country. +++ The government lets em send home like 80% of their money, almost all other countrys only allow like 20%. I Mean we had the biggest empire once, 3rd mst powerful country in the world. SORT IT OUTT!!!

Yeah but the majority of people in UK are not from UK. So you can't say "all black people from UK go back to you're own country" because that is there own country. But I do get what you mean.

Some of them come over here, get a car, get a house, get a better lifestyle than people who work for it. The only people who I agree with is the portuguese and that who come over here for a better life than what they are used to but it doesn't bother me but it is irritating as they can seem to be ignorent and such and treat you like you're lower than them.

if you trace time back nobody who is here now was originally from england. saxons, romans, normans, vikings. none of them are english.

Black people and stuff aren't usually asylum seekers. Asylum seekers come here because they don't like how their country was run, they're almost always from the Middle East.

And i know wot you mean about no one being true english but they are coming from the east to get benifets paid for by your parents. Having a better life than you. Thousands of people a month. And i dont mean like idians family that have been here generations, i mean people that purposley come for the benifits.

Well, in every country, there is no certain race of people. Like Jamaica, you got white, black, indian, chinese jamaican. Also, most people think all black people are Jamaican, not true. Basically... So in the UK, you can't say send back that chinese person to China because maybe they were born in the UK so necessarily their English.

Oops, sorry :P Jamaicans are just one race, while 'Black-African' sums up a whole continent. Although I would not know if they have a darker complexion, but that maybe it. Meh.

I would stay in the country I was born in I think, although maybe if I lived in a country that was failing, my view maybe different. Personally, I would rather live in a better country than this one. Well, I agree to a certain percentage but your pushing it a bit. Generally the people who come here get help from the government for like a year then they get a job and so on, but its only a minority who lives of the governments money/ all the tax payers. Also if you start sending everyone who isnt English then nothing will work because there will be alot of jobs but so few people that there isnt enough jobs for people to fill, and did you know its only london which has alot of foren people? Outside london is like 90% English, or English citizens.. But I do get where ur coming from in a way about people coming here living of our tax etc..

i just bet ur not full english, why dont u go backto ur own country? and if u sed that to everyone, this country would be worse as there would be no tourists spending their cash... so u cant say that, yes the asylum seekers should have to work for their money, but what if they are disabled? then what? Then they should go back to there own country, instead of living off our taxes :) and taking up our houses.

My uncle rents a house to an asylum, they came frm africa, they can speak french n went to france n sneaker under a truck or on a ferry or sommitn then came to england found a low paing job lke £3 an hour but thats alot in there currency

I personaly hate seeing all the afro carabian mini super markets in my town, my town is pretty much asia middle east afirica and norway poland roled into one! i hate it!

Education, NHS, transport... I feel they could be greatly improved expecialy the NHS... Maybe they could put more medications on the NHS Like all them 'Life saving drugs they refuse to give' what is in the newspapers from time to time.

If you trace back time far enough, no one is from any country except East Africa. The fact is that we, as descendants of Saxons, Romans etc., are the English, because that is what we've come to be known as.

In case anyone's interested in what the original post was talking about and not just the interpretation of it that people seem to have come up with, he raises a valid (although much used, and therefore not that important) point. He didn't say we should get rid of all foreigners, just that we should stop accepting asylum seekers who have no desire to work.
A better solution in my opinion would be that asylum seekers should only be allowed in for a certain amount of time, and during that time they must find and keep a stable job, or else move back out of the country. This way the honest ones can stay in a country which they want to be in, and the "sponges" don't affect us for long.

I Can agree with that too. But all the asylum seekers travel through different countrys to get to england and the lawsays w.e country they first land in they have to claim asylum their. But no we turn a blind eye, let them in n let them earn their money which is normaly going on the doll. And we let them send most of their money back to their familys. In like 99% of all other countrys you can only send like 25% of your earnings each month.

omgness the government need to sort it out, send the asylum seekers back. Everyone can say were racist but they shouldnt be here anyway so tbh why should they care?

This is very extreme, but completey fair.

They should make the number of foreigners who move to live in this country equal to the number of people who are immigrating away from the country (to Australia, Spain etc.). Would solve a lot of problems.

It's the same with people who dont work, we work and from our taxes come their pay off the brew.

Lol my brothers long term girlfriend is polish. She came to england like 11 years ago and did it all properly, she came across on a boat and claimed asylum which tbh idc about, she earns a respectable living and all and she pays taxes and she hates the face that she is paying for other people to live lol. And she dont smell of fish and she isnt on the game. She smells rather nice actually lol.
