What grade (year) are you in? (US and Canada)

I saw a "What year are you in?" thread, but that had English school systems, so here's one for Americans!

Since it's summer time here, just post which grade you're GOING INTO this next school year.

He means what grade are you in when you are 13-14 years of age.

year 2= 1st grade
year 3= 2nd grade
year 4= 3rd grade
year 5= 4th grade
year 6= 5th grade
year 7= 6th grade
Year 8= 7th grade
year 9= 8th grade
year 10= 9th grade (Freshman)
year 11= 10th grade (Sophmore)
year 12= 11th grade( Junior)
year 13= 12th grade (senior)

i found this on yahoo, so ill be going into 10th grade in september? (year 11)

i'm still pretty young though, i'm only 14... i'm a baby compared to everyone else in my class lol!

and for those who don't know

7th = year 8
8th = year 9
9th = year 10
10th = year 11

etc...

You would be a sophomore if you are going into year 11 in the UK, well that is what I was told.
