I think the rep system should go!

ok the reason i think the rep system should go
is because of several reasons

main reason for rep is for people to rep you
so people think some one with more rep
is reliable well ive been scammed alot of times for
habbo stuff like in 1 trade i traded 6 majestics for
a few months of vip (as i remember) main reason i trusted him
is because he had vouchers wich i found out was his clones
and he had realy good rep alot of it lol
and i got scammed by him he has a name change and
i dont know how this person done it he went on my acount
and posted i am *some one* and i am trusted or some thing
i dont know how he done it

ok the next thing is from the first reason
people with more rep are more reliable in some cases
YES but have you notist people can buy rep on hxf
for cash via paypal so i think more people would/will
get scammed because of people buying rep
to make them selfs look reliable

and i remember i ripped a picture and posted it on
the alt section wich was stupid i said what
you think of this pic (i think) and then i was on
130 rep or some thing and it went down to about
70 with LOADS! of people -reping me saying
ripped well from the first -rep or the first reply
i had on the thread i think i under stood that
how is ripping a picture makeing me unreliable
:S

so my sugestions are stop selling rep
or remove the rep system altogeather

i know loads of people will disagree with me
but this is WHAT I!!!! THINK of it

Disable it:S

if u think its unfair, the simple thing is to report it. if its not removed, then its fair.

i cant see the problem with rep, and as someone above has mentioned, just disable it.

if it's pointless, then report it and it'll get removed. they couldn't rly get rid of it anyway cuz some people have bought it. :rolleyes:

they wont be able to remove it because that many people have already bought rep.

Hi, the reputation system on Habbox Forum will most probably never go as so many people love it. I totally agree with it as it gives people a chance to show their respect to you and thank you. Also, if you do get -rep for no reason, why not report it at http://habboxforum.com/showthread.ph...ation+problems ? They will then remove the bad reputation if it is really a bad reason and if you follow what it says to do on the thread.

Anyways, it's not going to go. Habbox killed it by allowing people to buy it but nothing we can do now.

but i think they get enoth money from vip to keep all habbox up

does not cost like £500 a month lol

u cant really say that unless u know the exact figures which are spent on habbox. and i think they also would aim for a profit so that possibly part of the extra money made can be put back into habbox for its users.

Having a lot of rep doesn't mean you're trusted, there are loads of ways to get rep and 99% of the reps that are given aren't given for good trades.
You should ask for vouches if you don't trust somebody and look for trusted people who vouch for the person you're trading with. 1 vouch of a trusted person is better than 10 vouches of new and unknown people. ;)

You'll be surprised how much it costs. I don't know how much it costs but sierk was making a loss once I think.
They have to pay for:
- All the Habbox sites
- VIP services (sms and paypal)
- The higher staff are paid.
- The radio

VIP only costs 1 pound or less so you'll need lots of people who buy VIP and rep to cover the costs, hence why they got google ads to get some extra money. ;)
