Referred to an adolescent psychologist..

So yeah, recently I got referred to an adolescent psychologist by my school and my parents, because they think I may have some form of depression..

I have been really down lately.. Crying a lot and overreacting over the simplest things like people at skwl doing things that were slightly immature.. At first I thought it might be just that I was growing up too fast mentally, and that is partly true, I believe.. But now I realise it`s because I`m missing something as well, but I can`t figure out what it is..

Nobody can tell you, what you are missing... Just think hard, name things you used to have... People you used to know, family members that have died... And it might just click.

I'm sure a good talk with the psychologist will bring to light what it is... nobody seems to just sit down and talk theese days

I`m not entirely sure I want to go.. I don`t believe someone that I don`t know personally will be able to understand me on the whole.. if you get what I mean..

a psychologist has experience in these kinds of things so i say you go and try it out. If you dont like it you dont have to ever go again but it could really help you and if you open up to them they can do a lot for you

What you're missing is nothing, you want to be able to find something new it seems.

Dont go to a shrink, it goes on your personal record thing and ppl will see it in the future and think "weirdo"!

I fink its cus u need someone to love, or love someone who doesnt love u/doesnt know.

No it doesn't, i've had psychotherapy for YEARS and I still got into college and can get jobs and no one will think you're a weirdo.

Anyway; i think you should atleast go and give it a try, having someone to talk to does help.
