At first we weren't so close
And she was the most distant from me
But as I got to know her i saw
How great a friend she can be
She's been there by my side
And has always helped me through
I know I can rely on her
Like she can rely on me too
She has all my love
She is my best friend
Someone I care about so much
An angel helping me to mend
I tell her my secrets
And ask for advice too
She always knows the right things
And what I should do
She's the smart one
Pretty, nice, and sensitive
She gives me her friendship
Which is the best gift she can give
She plays the mature role
Guiding all of us through
The one friend who's always there
And knows exactly how to help you
She keeps me smiling
And catches me when I fall
She's been there by my side
Through it all
She's the one who
Keeps me from falling apart
The friend that shows life's great meaning
And has such a caring heart
A best friend indeed
She means the world to me
Finally a dream
Becoming reality..
