theres huge media coverage here at the moment because an 11 year old got shot (they think) accidently in crossfire between 2 rival gangs in liverpool. absolutely shocking.

Yeah, its no wonder they call us the 51st State. The way we are going, its not good. We need to crawl out of the US' **** as soon as possible. Its far from cute. An 11 year old being shot isnt cute. Its a shame.

As for the plane being grounded, I guess its right to be over cautious, but only with sensible things. I mean speaking in arabic... its their language!! If they were looking and acting suspicious I could understand, but speaking in their mother tongue isnt something to ground a plane over.

Well to be honest, i know its unfair but every asian i see or muslim's i stand away from 'cus i dont trust them and to be fair were a English country and well, if they want to speak their language do it in their own private home, i hate it when they dont.

Well i just find it dumb, im asian, altho i cant speak arabic its dumb. Its like saying u walk away from every black man because he may shoot you, or every english man because he may be drunk and doesnt support the same team as you...

I think thats unfair to say. What if a Welsh person came to live in England. Would you expect them only to ever speak Welsh in their own home?! I know you are entitled to your opinion, and thats yours - this is mine. Not every muslim is a terrorist.

There are all sorts of links. Take it from a foreigner who lives in the USA: crime doesn't appear nearly as bad as the British seem to think, and I live in one of the biggest cities in the world (NYC). When I compare it to Moscow and Russia in general, it's like walking through heaven here.

I have been to the UK. I didn't spend long there, yet it only took me that long to get a real taste for your youth.

But you are basing the whole Muslim community on a very small percentage of people who do terrorise us. Its not just Muslims who can be terrorists.

it's totally different though, we would be able to understand them if they were irish (to an extent..) plus, they wouldn't halt the whole underground, they would just halt sections of it more than likely, just like they only grounded one plane.

i'll admit it I do get nervous around these kinds of people at the airport, I think everyone stereotypes deep down.... but i'm just surprised she actually reported it... and it actually got grounded.

Same with me, Everyone stereotypes deep down. And cos of terrorists and that, I think everyone stereotypes foreign people. The media does always say that terrorists are usually muslim, indian, arabaic, etc.
And im sure that's why people dont like them speaking in their own language.
In my opinion too, I dont like women, covering their faces.. I know it's their religion and beliefs, but I really just dont like it tbh, Cos you cant see their faces properly or their hair. We have our beliefs and they have theirs, Im sure they complain about us too. Im not racist either, I have heaps of friends that arent English, or White.
I'd only ever report it, if they were being suspicious.

Well if you look at the well known terrorist attacks, they are done by middle eastern men, muslims, arabs etc.
I think we have pretty much every reason to stereotype them, Everyone knows that not every Muslim is a terrorist, but we'll still stereotype them... if you get me..
