The Trading Section.

Should it even exist anymore.. I now see countless threads being made "Selling Pins","Buying 40M","Selling 400M","Selling Orange Phat"[1]. Yet the thing about all these threads is that they all have one crucial detail. The first line of the actual thread seems to always say;

"I Dont go first no matter who you are"[2]

So, If nobody is ever going to go first.. Whats the point in the trading section? If people are just going to get banned and nobody is willing to go first is it just a waste of space?

Does anybody remember a time when the trading section was full of activity with no scammers. It leaves me wondering where that time has gone and why has it changed?

May aswell use official forum.

It is useful its obvious considering the amount of posts in there

yeah I think it should just be for runescape items not selling pins, habbo etc

same itll stop all the scamming/bannings

i know what you mean but people do trade in the forum at their own risk, maybe their should be a subforum in the trading section just for rs-rs trades?

lol dude, if theyre all saying "im not going first" what are they GOING to saY? Im going first!!!?? like who would say that, would you?

It simply needs to be better trading between people, if the trust link starts to develop then the forum will progess, but everyone only wants big trades so its not pointless, just hard to get traded.

no, people do still use it, but just very cautious of it.

Its not pointless.... I always use it when i need to. I also know lots of people who go second for things.

People do go first tbh thats abit ott to say that, i most of the time go first.

I think a MM system should be enforced in some way.

I can think of lots of people who would be happy to MM.

This is just opinion, whether you agree or not its your decision.

The runescape trades section should not be removed, it just needs abit of an upgrade ;)

i love looking at peoples bank sales and stuff, please don't get rid of the Trading Section(!)

I think lyk we need it lyk, lyk witout it we would be lyk tradeless.

People use it, so what would be the point in removing it? There not doing any harm are they?

I think the trading forum should have 2 sub-forums, for habbo and runescape / cash sale trades, and the other for just pure runescape for runescape.

Runescape - Runescape only happens in the event of banksales. Other than that, official forums way better.

I think partially why nobody goes first is because for a time, it was a no limit black market (with people coming from elsewhere), therefore not knowing it and therefore not going first.
So long as it does no harm, it doesn't really need removing.

ovisly u know some people to trust on forum. and if they said they wanted to trade.. ud go first...

but not to some noob with like 4 posts who gets loads of people saying hes trusted for a scam..
