Going Into Hospital For An Op!

Hey all, just saying baii, going into hospital tomorrow (friday) to get my nose rebroken, first operation i've ever had so i'm abit nervous :(

Has anyone ever had their nose rebroken?

I'll be under anasthetic :p and i'll be on pain killers afterwards, it'll be sore yeah but should be okay :(

ive never had any broken bones/ops. So... unlucky! Hope it all goes well.

Are you having the operation later on in the day? I preferred it when mine was later because you fell very tired after and will probably go to sleep.

You don't feel anything when the put the anaesthetic into you. Your just gone immediately.

Naw tis in the morning, probably like 10 or 12 ish =[ but ah well

Nose ops are simple, so you should be ok :) You will obviously feel a bit odd afterwards and maybe a slight pain, but in general, it'll be fine.

Hey i'm back :D

the operation went fine, going under anasthetic is so weird! I don't even remember falling asleep atall lol xD

I've been in no pain whatsoever :D My good old dad's genes in me- high pain threshold ftw :D

I spent the night at hospital, didn't get much sleep, was more resting than sleeping kinda thing, so that's about it basically =] I'm just sitting on the chair with a box of tissues, cos there's alot of gunk up my nose ^_^ having the splint removed in a week, and had my nose cotton wool things removed last night (it stung a little bit)

See, its not soo bad :P Did you have the Strawberry/Vanilla Anesthetic? Thats the best :D Vanilla in it is too strong though...

You nget flavoured anasetetic? I just got given a pill which was flavourless :( Have hospitals changed within the last 12 years that much?

I didn't get flavoured anasthetic lol :s How would you even know it had a flavour though? xD It just gets pumped straight into your blood lol
