a common misconception is that new york state [the big one to the left] is part of new england, but it's not.
and yes, boston is quite good. if you have the chance, i would go see a red sox game. they sell out very quickly though. every game has been sold out for the past 6 years or something. fenway park is the most famous [and oldest] stadium for any team.
i've been to all the new england states except for maine. they're all nice depending on what time of year you go. ive never been to vermont in the summer.

New plan :D. Still going to New England but there are no direct flights to Boston so we're flying to New York, staying a few days then flying to boston.
