Although, no I wouldn't. If you get old, imagine how frail you'd be aged 600.
Plus, if the human race died out, yet you were immortal, you'd be all on your own, permanently.
Being immortal would be pointless in the end.. 'cos you'd get bored of living eventually.
And also the mindset that there would be no point in "living your life to the full", 'cos there will be billions of years ahead to do things.

It would be quite cool, but wouldn't you get bored of it? You'd be like 1000 years old and still living.. im not sure lol coz when ur 1000 u wont be able to move :S
