Work Experience! TIRING!

Oh my god!! What a nervous and tiring day!

You wouldn't think old people would tire you out!!

I had to hoover, polish and clean old peoples bath rooms, about 10 or something..

wash and dress them! Ewwwww :eusa_shhh

Make them tea or coffee, help with their breakfast and lunch

Tidy and clean up the kitchen, do the laundry, talk to them..

Jesus! I've decided I don't want to work there and it's only day one!
Now I have to write in my progress diary ;(

The people there are really nice, especially the old people lol
they kept complimenting me on my looks LOL and said I had
lovely hair :') Awwww!

How did your day go everyone who was on w e?

I went to a kinda publishing place thing and basically watching books being printed was pretty intresting, then I had to write basic outlines for stories and junk like that.

I wanted to do something along the lines of that.. but no no! They don't have any of my choices and I get left with oap's :(!

Ok then maybe not.

My cousin had to do hairdressing she messed it up her hair was a mess (short) It was actuall long looking at the photos, and she had a bald patch in her hair it took like 4 months to get the bald patch to go or something and the woman paid no woman for it.

Who would...?

Sausage rolls,

pork pies

or fish cakes

and then

toffee pudding with custard

or ice cream

I go there at 9, clean the rooms etc, make breakfast and stuff..

at 11 we have break, and then start on lunch and tidy up as we go..

at lunch we go have our lunch down town.. come back, help with tea
and tidy the kitchen and talk to the old people...

I work in an old folks home in scotland, we get to wear what we want but it has to be smart but casual :) I wore my school trousers and my new short top.. :') I had to wear a piniform though lol

I can wear what I want and I basically get told what to do.

Half the time I'm making tea.

Two of my friends just knocked on the door with a massive, MASSIVE black labrador it put it's nose through the door then it's head and started barking madly at my mum's rabbit.

Friendly, peaceful and not demanding throughout the day.

Old people are really weak and vonerable.

What did you do today that you are pleased about?
Tidyied rooms, kitchen, helped the old people and I was polite.

Tiring, sympathetic towards the old people being so tired and frail.
