If I did anything other than a recolour you would probably take the mick anyway, so there's no point trying because there's no pleasing you.

Colours dont really go, Try and mix a good colour on the outline

The colours are a little bright, but it's a decent idea. I'd love to have different coloured badges, although I wouldn't use it.
