I was told today of another fake homepage, whic is fully functional. It uses the Title Habbo Hotel second edition or Habbo SE and the url is http://www.members.lycos.nl/habbose/index.htm

Do not login to this hotel, I am posting it so you can see what it looks like so if you ever come across it you will now know not to enter.

i clicked on check in.. it takes u of ur habbo n changes it in a "Upgrade your old habbo account to a new fresh Habbo Second edition acount"

notice account is spelt wrong :p

and you can have passwords larger than 9 letters and it opens up to a window that isn't even Shockwave.

And when you click "Upgrade" it has a huge ad box at the top

I doubt whoever made that is a n00b. Very smart, in some sense. As I doubt that Habbo would advertise themselves as 'Not being a scam site,' And why are they heavy on the numbers at their Help desk?

Still looks so convincing though :D

I hope this kind of stuff gets reported to sulake before it even gets posted on here, thats
just a huge infringement of copyright laws, and whoever owns that domain could be severely punished for immitating sulake and even claiming ownership of the trademarks. Sad thing is, as alot of people can spot the inconcistencies in the page there are some who cant and do fall victim to this absurd scam.
