this obviously goes against what the staff told not just me but others in the hotel.

Well they probably unbanned them all and when they posted that news article about SOME of the accounts being unbanned.. They have probably just banned the major offenders
some people were re banned for serious offences

Some people I know are still unbanned, maybe its those heavy sentences ones that are rebanned.
So after claiming that they unbanned everyone and that it wasn't some giant cockup they are rebanning people... so it was one giant cockup
When they updated everything, obviously all the bans got reset by accident. They couldn't be arsed to reban them so made some crappy excuses. Then the next day they actually bothered to check who was REALLY bad and who did hardly anything.
Habbo do have back-ups, ***.
And i think the reason they're banning people, is that they've done something worse (breaking into moderator accounts or something like that).
So They get the dutch police involved to arrest thoose who break the habbo way (I hope thats how it goes on their police record) , but then in the Uk claim to Unbann everyone then start banning them again... with a site worse then piczo.

To be fair, I think the re-ban is for a minority. It shouldn't really make a difference to anyone since you've got to be stupid to leave furni on an account that's just been unbanned for something major after they've said they'll reban if you step out of line.
So in most cases it should just be a name gone. More fool you if you left furni on there.

My advice: If you've been unbanned, move all your best furni onto another, safe account and leave it that way for a while

Lol, i got unbanned on my alt account (banned for having alt chars in name) and re-banned for the same reason. Thats logic for you. :D

Some of the re-banned accounts are propbley mistaked un-bans.
Its the major offendors who are rebanned.

yes but what im saying is that they should NOT have told me i was going to stay unbanned...that is the fault in it. also thats just information to keep the furniture on the banned account since they can easily ban the account you moved the furni to.
just didnt figure they would lie again..thought maybe it was really a NEW start XD
and i was banned because some kid bought creds for me with a stolen card and did or didnt pay...ive been told both from habbo. but now it just says "banned - unban didnt apply to you"
EVERYONE was unbanned at at first. They wouldn't accidently unban all the staff.
