PS3 60GB Discontinued?

Hey,

Just got my GAME E-Mail through and it says that the PS3 60GB version has been discontinued by Sony. Is this only happening in the UK or throughout the world?

Are the old big black PS2's worth more now that they've been replaced with slimlines? No.

think about it....

There was virtually no difference between the two PS2s

But the 60GB version has an ethernet port, 4 usb slots, 60HB (obv) and backwards compatabilit with PS2 games, all of which the 40GB version does not.

Have to do more overtime at my job so i can buy a 60gb one. not buying a 40gb. >.> getting a deal from someone who works in a shop for £270 :P just hopefully i can get the money in time >.<
