It is a safety risk as others have pointed out. It is easy to make a new one anyway even based on it if you have to.
Example:
Previous Password could of been gangsta1
New Password could be g4ngst41
Plus it would be harder for people to guess it then anyway as it is using a mixture of letters and numbers. Trust me it's not that bad, on another forum every couple of weeks I was made to change my password and that couldn't of been a previous one either so be thankful you can keep your current one for a while. :P
Hardly, you just take the old password and recycle it and put it together again using a mixture of numbers instead of words and vice-versa. You would need a completely random password to be safe "/Quote:

Staff get forced to change their passwords after a certain amount of time by the options set on the forums. Depending on the risk factor of your account being stolen and what could be accessed on the forums is what determines how frequent the forums force staff change their pass.Quote:

Random password generators are the way to go. Here's one I use a lot.
I have never been forced to change my password by any forum options. I change mines once every 2 months ;)
Good Idea to change it after what has happened to some www.habboxlive.com Staff.
