This forum is probably the worst place to discuss anime. People here describe it as 'kids stuff', which is totally inaccurate. Seeing as a lot of anime is 18+ ;) However, me and a few others do love anime. :D
What do you mean when you say general anime? I like loads of anime and I have seen Sailor Moon. ;) I like animes that fall under fantasy, adventure/action, fighting/war, mystery, comedy and drama/romance the best. I just can't get enough of them!
Same, my friend always talks about sailor moon and prince summit. But i really like it, and i draw loads of it. I only know Naruto and Sailor moon, please cxan you PM me some more series or yeh.. Thank you =]

Usally Sailor Moon & Naruto. I heard of Kasasuki and that looks really good. My anime is usually based on real people i know
Well I think Naruto is probably most similar to Bleach. You should check it out. :)
I've never heard of Kasasuki before though. Do you mean Kannazuki no Miko? If so... I haven't seen it, but I've heard of it.

All of the above are 15/18. Anime is treated just like films and video games, why should it be treated differently just because its animated? Thats funny actually, video games are animated and no one says they're for kids and don't have 18 ratings. There are even animes with R ratings.

The best to listed here id would say are Gantz (which i really want to see continued) & Hellsing.
Though the all time ultimate anime is undoubtedly NGE IMO. Neon Genisis Evanglon eclipses almost any media out there, anime or not. (highly suggested viewing)
Tho theres plenty of other fun to watch stuff out there, so id have to say im a fan :p

I'm finding Viewtiful Joe cartoons on YouTube rather interesting at the moment. After playing the game I wondered what the actual cartoon, the origin was like and it's interesting to see how the game came about and what the story is like. I watched a few Sailor Moon cartoons on some site ages ago, that was interesting too because it used to be on Fox Kids (now Jetix).
I dislike all aspects of anime.
I like some anime, but not all of it.
I love Dragonball (Z & GT). And have also watched Sailor Moon and of course Pokemon, Digimon and Yugioh. But none of the what I will class as "hardcore anime", mainly the ones which haven't had much mainstream success over here.

I love anime, my favourite is Avatar: The Last Airbender. It's not 100% anime as it has been westernised, but there's so many different elementss of Eastern culture put into it. Pokémon has to be the worst anime ever, the animation in it is terrible; but I still like it because it's Pokémon.

I'm a big fan of Avatar aswell. :P Seen every episode up to season 3, episode 12. :D The animation is fantastic and the fights are awesome. They're making a live action movie aswell. :)Quote:
