Christmas Event - For ALL Players! 18-Dec-2007

white Christmas has come to RuneScape this year! It is a gift from the Queen of Snow, who has enlisted her cheeky snow imps for a festive task: to bring snow to some of RuneScape's major settlements. As far as the imps are concerned, you can do what you like with it: there's plenty more where it came from!
So, what can you do with snow? For a start you can make snowballs and, unlike last Christmas's snowballs, you can throw them at other players. If you ever get tired of pelting each other with snowballs, you can use the same snow to build snowmen. The snow imps will even provide a selection of hats to add a finishing touch. The hats are infused with Christmas magic, so they might do more to the snowmen than just make them look good.
Once you've built a snowman, the snow imps will give you a chance to visit the Land of Snow itself and contribute to the great Snow Tournament. The Queen of Snow herself presides over the tournament and, this being Christmas, she might even have a present for you.
The Christmas event is open for two weeks and can be accessed by both free-to-play and members.
Summary

Where to start the 2007 Christmas Event Talk to the snow imps in Draynor, Falador, Ardougne, Burthorpe or Rellekka.


Note: The snowman hats and accessories will disappear once the Christmas event ends.
Access to

• A snowman area the size of Draynor Village
• Snowballs that can be thrown at other players
• A total of eight different snowmen that can be built
• New item and emote!

Does that mean the snowballs will be deleted when the event is over?

will we be aloud to keep the snowmens hats?? or just the snow globe and emotion??

I don't know but u wont be able to throw snowbals anymore.

What the hell is the point, all you get is a snowglobe and an emote and if you can't use snowballs after the event the snowglobe is useless =/

The snowballs should be made into 'fun items' like the plastic chiken and flowers after xmas and still be able to chuck them about.

u can keep the snowballs as the snowglobe makes them when u have none in ure invontry :D

You can't even bank the hats :( Makes it look like im carring 28 dragon full helms :P

I don't know about the snowglobe because I didn't even know you could get it. But, as for the emote, make a snowman, talk to the snow imp and get one of the hats and put it on your snowman, and then they'll come to life and you'll do the emote and then you'll get it.

Oh and to get the snowglobe you must talk to a snow imp to go to the land of the snow. The go to where the queen is and click the Option "Ooh, A Present". Youll get a snow globe which refills ur inventory with snowballs

did u make a snowman when u got the emote? cuz nomatter what if u made a snowman you would have got the emote anyway.

That was a terrible event, the yo-yo was a better reward =/
