That's gone quick, so it's one year today that Iraq lost a leader who knew how to lead and stop his country turning into a civil hellhole.

Agreed-ish, If we hadn't invaded Iraq looking for WMD's that just weren't there, thousands of lives wouldn't have been lost and Iraq would be in a better state than it is today. Undertaker has a good point, but i wouldn't go as far as saying "saddam was a good leader"

Undertaker is actually right in my point of view, cause the war messed up iraq big time, atleast when saddam was in lead, people had food on the table and shelter. but cause of the war (reason oil..) alot of innicont people got killed.

Lmao I remember that day like yesterday. When we got back to school I remember everyone running into our form room with video's of Saddam's hanging on their phone thinking they're unique when nearly everyone did.
Saddam held Iraq together, and if you compare it to Saudi Arabia, his method works with time. Saudi Arabia used to be like Iraq in the past, harsh leaders (Monarchy), brutal punishments, poor human rights and lots of oil. Look where it is now? There is now peace and a hell of a lot of wealth over there. Most definitely the richest and wealthiest nation in the Middle East, Iraq was following what Saudi did, and I'm sure it could of achieved what Saudi did, till we stepped in.
