Over 2 million people have currently caught it this winter, and it is predicted 200,000 people a week will carry on catching it when children go back to school. Sounds horrible, the 'Vomiting virus''. Its proper name is 'norovirus'.
I can't remember the last time i vomited, infact I think it waswhen i was in primary school, but now im in college so yeah long time.

Ewe... it sounds disgusting. THANKFULLY HOWEVER, I have an amazing immune system, so no virus for me!
Man my immune system is messed up atm :(

i had that :D wasnt nice XD was up the first night i had it being sick every 10 minutes or so. after about 5 hours my stomach was completely empty and then i just started vommiting mucus
I wont get it, im actually very rarely ill for some reason. I think I must have a half decent immune system

My mum had it on xmas day and i lucily caught it on boxing day *dances*

I have stomach problems anyway so Im dreadful when I catch these things. I hope I dont catch it anyway, I've got exams this week and next week.
Few days off school if you catch it, sure you'd feel horrible.

I had this, its nasty. I kept vomiting like 6 times a day (holded the rest some h0w) I wouldnt even eat a mcdonalds burger.
It said on the news you should take at least four days off. 48ish hours whilst you have it and then another 48ish hours to let it clear your system; it's that catchy! I think I might be starting to get it as I type this. I was sick about 40 minutes ago and have felt off all day.
Luckily i havent caught this, but a friend of mine has, he's had it few like 5-6 days now, poor guy
Over 50% absence at the College. They are saying stay away of you have any germs at all.
What county/area is that? I'm not sure what my brothers college is like, Essex may not have the illness.Quote:
