I think that Monthly HabboxForum should have a newsletter to let members know what is going on each month or 2 weeks.
A Certain amount of Newsletter Editors would be picked and they would get some of the most important topics of the month and write little articles about them.
There could also be some fun stuff such as interviews with staff or Habbo X's and then Furniture Reviews.
Lol, furniture reviews is an interesting idea! I think something along these lines may be in the pipeline, but if it is you didn't hear it from me ;)
I do a Rare Values Newsletter/Furni facts.
I havent been doing them latey, I have my mocks this week until 15th. So im not going to be able to much due to revision.

The newsletter won't work for very long, if it actually gets off the ground. Nothing happens at Habbox worth mentioning and not many people care about Habbo to bother reading a newsletter on it.

There used to be a newsletter about 18 months ago.

It's difficult trying to get material for each edition (we did 1 seasonally) because there isn't much "radical" change in departments. Even if there is changes, it's posted on the main site or in the announcements on the forum.
Think about it, Events staff will probably re-cap people who won events over the last "<time since last article>"; Rare Value Reporters can state if there's been any changes to the system used or the big ups and downs; News Reporters can do a indepth analysis of Habbo news, giving opinions on good / bad changes.
There's nothing really original there.
There did used to be a Interviews section on Habbox, but it was deemed unpopular sometime late 2006 I think, the last of originality was again a factor with that I think.
Although this is a good idea, it'd need a broader guideline of what you would include and see if that would be accepted by management or not.
I think it has been attempted 3 or 4 times now but it needs a really dedicated person to do it :o I remember that getting content from the managers was the hardest thing and anybody without the patience of a saint would have quit doing it because it was like they were fighting a losing battle.Quote:

It would just be another burden on the already burden laid Habbox.
I think once a moth would be ok, just a small NL to help keep users informed about whats happen on habbox/habboxforum that month.
The Announcement forum would be good for that, and the "Habbox Today" section on Habbox, and the other forums where competitions and events are normally added. There really would be no need for a Newsletter on Habbox.Quote:

Perhaps the threadstarter could ask for a poll to be added to canvass opinion?
I am not sure myself what extra it could give but perhaps Ed has something in mind that would get most of the members involved who perhaps don't have time to read the whole forum. A precis of what has happened and anything interesting that is about to happen. Could maybe make the forum a bit more proactive?
Or maybe something like a “HabboxForum monthly/weekly review” were the (Assistant) Forum Manager make an announcement with everything that has gone on in the background of the forum and that, that maybe interesting for some to read, although, it’s where the forum management find the time to write it.
