depends how much stuff costs in credit terms...
Agreed with Mr.Sam
I guess it all depends what you can buy with how many creds
All items could be 1 credit for all you know. Realise 1 credit on habbo doesnt equal 1 on club tropica. Credits arent like real money...
CT is aimed at adults with too much time on their hands. They'll have the money.
Hmmm true. But i would make it low, for one month, then increase it. That way if people realise they lkike it loads they will be forced to buy more!
*Buisness Man* :P :D
That plan could also backfire. If you start out low and then people use it for awhile and see that the price is increasing, they could be outraged and decide not to buy it. On the other hand if you start out higher and have a good amount of people buying it, as soon as you lower it the people who previously had it will continue to buy it as well as others, habbo for example
But here's the thing. Let's say their first month they have it at 30 and it flops terribly. They see that people aren't buying it for this price so they always have the option to lower it. When they start low they can't just keep going lower or lower otherwise it'd be pointless.
What you don't realise is that they're not keeping the price high for the membership on purpose, they don't need to keep it high actually. Once they find different ways of revenue like Habbo have with sponsorship over movies, they can lower alot. You don't even need a big profit, you can start low with cheap prices which creates a good revenue in the long haul, in exchange for virtual furniture/membership, then work your way up?
Exactly, they can't start low and raise it because it would be unfair to people that pay afterwards, you always start high and then lower the price, the PS3 wasn't released at £100 then slowly increased they put a price and lower it depending on how many people buy it
CT isn't aimed at 11-19 year olds like Habbo, its really aimed at adults.
So don't complain.
BUT THIS IS NOT HABBO.
I doubt adults will be interesting in paying to put extra stuff on a profile. It will be teennagers that will most likely purchase. So when they advertise and realise this i think they will aim it more at older teenagers and not adults in general. For example on facebook or bebo ect, its more of the older teens that use it and ct is kind of a social networking site.
Perhaps you just get more for your money so there isn't a need to have lots of credits, who knows... i'm sure prices might change after all the sites only in its alpha and the clients in its beta.
You just shouldn't compare it to habbo, it's aimed at adults who will probably pay that.
habbo started at those prices so why are oyu complaingin, and i agree with all othe posts that backthe price atm :)
so i wont re write that
CT sounds rather rubbish tbh
One thing may just cost 1 "Isla"
thats a pooint, how do you say Isla?
i say it like is-lah
i think its meant to be like i-lah
CT is a fail already.
Habbo are far more talented marketing wise.
ClubTropica is just going to be another game trying to be like Habbo and it's failed 3 times before it's even opened. It's going to suck.
People saying things like its aimed at adults is ********.
They will realise soon that its teeangers they should be aiming this at. No adult would pay real money for virtual furni. Sorry CT but sort it out.
They ask for your mobile number on registering?
:\
so they can send you the code when you buy Isla's on paypal etc
I won't be signing up.
