Hi
Ok so I am sitting here with a large carton of innocent smoothie im drinking. I thought it was good for you seeing as it has no additives etc, but I am now 3 quarters finished the carton and dont feel very well. It has all the ingridients on the back and nutritional info etc and it says about vitamins in it. What I want to know is, is having too much vitamin c bad for you? I googled it but cant find out what happens if you have too much. Any help?

Okay if the large ones are the ones I'm thinking of then ooer. Have you just like sat there and downed it lol? Too much of most things can be bad for you and your body might not need anymore; when you feel ill it's usually your body telling you something - in this case stop drinking the smoothie ;P.
Its the 1 litre cartons :P Im kinda feeling a little better now but I will stay off the smoothie for a while lol
Not vitamin C, your body disposes of it if you have too much, which is rarely ever. It's more likely to do with all the sugar.

Sorry but this is fuss over nothing. You are just full. It is a very filling drink and you drank about a litre of it so yes you probably feel full. And virgin there is no sugar in it :P
It will though, all that fruit etc in there mixed together in your tummy will you give a tummy ache!
Most of them contain like 10g per 100ml, so 100g of sugar per litre. True it may be fructose, but high consumption is no good for you regardless.Quote:
