This situation was this. I'd become steadily inactive over the last 1-2 weeks and that was due to me not really enjoying the job anymore. So last night I talk to Favourtism about it for abit and what I felt about the job, so we outlined some stuff and then we added Agesilaus to the conversation which didn't go down to well and so I ended up getting pretty ticked off with him and send Elkaa an offline message saying that I wanted to resign. Afterwards I talked to opensourcehost who calmed me down abit and made me look at things abit differently. After sleeping on it I did feel better about the job so naturally I decided to keep with the job. However, Elkaa came online and removed my permissions due to what I said to him the previous night, I then talked to him about how I felt and I was pretty much ready to get back to the job, but he said he'd talk to Jimi about it first. But it seems since isn't the first time I have said I wanted to resign so this been the second time I wanted to resign he has decided that he can't have me on the team If I am to periodically decide to resign then decide not to.

I'm not really sour about it though, It's a fair enough point he's made :).

It doesn't change the fact your an awsome and experienced smod, I think firing you wasn't really that necessary, and maybe a warning saying to make up your mind basically, but at the end of the day Jimi has been a good assist and now forum manager for ages and im sure he's trying to make the right decisions for the forum.

You know Mat64 was a very good Smod and perhaps he was a bit inactive lately but much as I like you Elkaa you were inactive for more than a few weeks, came straight back as Smod and rose rapidly to Assistant Forum Manager so where is the reasoning for letting Mat go? Fair is fair.

Also I thought nothing people said on MSN could be used because if that was the case I would have had a very big complaint against a member of the management team but it was said because it was said on MSN nothing could be done. Also if someone is unhappy and thinking about resigning surely asking them what the problem is should be the first port of call? Maybe he was asked and if that is the case I apologise.

Whilst you make some fair points, without knowing everything you can't pass judgement on what happened, especially when you don't know the reasoning behind my several weeks away.

Mat64 was, as I said, a good super moderator and the decision to remove him was not taken lightly. I've been a friend to him as I've known him since he became a Moderator, and helped him out where and as I can. He was also contacted about the issues after the first time, and then was contacted by me today to discuss it again.

As for the MSN conversations, they're not used and you're correct there.

Thanks :). Although I was asked and Kevin did give me answers to why some of the things that are happening are concerning me, I was pretty much ready to get back to work but I guess Jimi decided that this might become a routine that he cannot allow but then again I'm sure I remember Kevin telling me he threatened to resign something like 4 times when he was a super moderator :P.

Everyone gets fed up after a while and needs a break to refresh themselves...

Darn, all I can say is that it'll be a big blow in the smod team - there are still some fine smods, but mat was a great part of the team. :(

I'd already taken a week off previously but I just came back after than feeling pretty much the same way. However after talking to Kevin today he explained to me (as said before) why some things were happening that I was unhappy about. So after that I was pretty much happy to get back on the horse.

No I was not passing judgment merely asking a question. I am sure that you had good reasons for being away but the fact remains that maybe Mat had good reasons for not being so active which with a caring management structure would have been addressed. As I say he is a sore loss to Habbox Forum and its a shame that he seems to have been let go because of apparently threatening to resign? I say apparently as as you say I can't know what goes on behind closed doors. :)
