Clubtropica forums?

Why isn't it listed under "Games" category with games like RuneScape?

isit really that special it needs its own category?

To be honest though, who cares? Not many people will even know or remember him. He is dead and buried as far as the forum is concerned.

This clearly shouldn't be a catagory, yet MAD seems to think we want it.

Well, people ask for a CT forum, and they got it. And, then people complain because it's there. In a way, they might think it's going to be big and popular so it has it's own forum catergory just like habbo has.

Only reason it was changed back was because the users of that forum didn't like it. If the users of the ClubTropica forums like it then it would be best to leave it that way. It's not doing any harm.

I would prefer to see CT in the games category or runescape back with its own category. It seems quite odd that such a massive game like runescape has less exposure than a new game thats not open yet.

That's the point, no-one really properly uses it, especially when it isn't out (if it ever becomes 'out'). And clearly it is causing problems, because it was just released with no reason other than "We have plans for ClubTropica." It's a wasted catagory, with no dedicated members, only ones just peering over it and posting every now and again. It would be less time consuming and easier just to let it have a forum in the Games section.

I agree, until it is officially open and a bit bigger it should just be a sub-forum in the gaming section.

Re-paying Just-one for all his help, fair enough, but If i go set up a porn site can I have it put on the front of the forum aswell with its own section?

I'd think the best option is to do what they've done with the Runescape forum. We've already had a section for Runescape and nobody liked it so it got changed back. Giving it to us again will just make many users rebel against it, again.

I would prefer it in the games so its on a level with runescape and if they wanted hxf to have its on CT category if I was sierk i would have asked for some cash for advertising :P

The Runescape users don't want to have their own category. The reason is then they have to scroll down on the homepage to view all the different RS forums, while now they have one page with all the RS subforums and nothing else.
Since ClubTropica is new it is a good idea to give it some exposure on the homepage of the forum, maybe it will helping getting a lot of users for this category, just like we have for RS (assuming that CT will become a very popular game as well).

Note also www.clubtropicaforum.co.uk and www.clubtropicaforum.eu (as I know how much jrh and jack love .eu :P)

That is seriously pointless... Why don;t you buy a new vBulletin board and host it somewhere else rather than waste a domain and a catagory? HabboxForum isn't ClubTropica Forum. Why are you advertising it so much when a very small group are the only ones who care? Don't give us this Just-One helps run it crap, because no-one cares about him, he is dead and buried as far as we are concerned. It needs a forum, not a catagory.

I never mentioned Just-One so don't suggest I did.
If there was something else new that we thought could become popular we would also try that, that is no excuse but the reason.
