wth - Venomous Habbulus

Why are these going down? i havent seen any sold for a while let alone sold for 2t 10 hc

Earlier they where 3t and i made a thread asking for 3t 10 because that is the lowest id sell it for (there aren't that many in the hotel)

But now its suddenly 2t 10, ridiculous...... this is just further evidence that value reporters make it up or else base there value on a single trade

still it is unanswered

habboxs values just dont make sense, there are thousands upon thousands of dinos, gold nellies, red and blue bird baths yet for a couple more HC you can buy super rares that are very rare indeed! like the purple ICM, the venomous habbulus and the info bus poster!

The super rare values are a joke

As someone has already posted, they were recently given out as a prize, and if more come out and more are in circulation, then they are most likely going to drop more in value...

When the Venomus Habbolus was 3T 25CS (around that value), Papermoon bought a second one for only 3T. It was still the same value of 3T 25CS (around that value) and someone I saw was asking for 3T 10CS, just like you are now, and they suddenly asked for 3T... and eventually wanted even less than that as it was such a struggle for them to sell.

It is not us that are the cause of the Venomus Habbolus to decrease in value, but it is the habbo public themselves, as they are willing to sell their Venomus Habbolus under the Habbox value so we correct our value to what we have seen others trade for. If you haven't seen it sell for 2T 10CS then don't expect that it hasn't.

Have you ever thought that certain items are wanted more than others, e.g The throne is an extremely popular rare, but samovar isn't.

If it was only traded once where else would it be valued on? You moan about the values yet you don't need to use them? OK most people do so it's a little hard but you can push the price, habbox is only a guide which alot of people fail to see :).

At the end of they day I have been offered these for lower on habbo UK. I think the habbox value is pretty accurate at the moment. You say about the birdbaths and nellies I think you're forgetting how the rare values system works. People pay what they want to regardless of the amount on the hotel. The older classic rares like dinos and bbs I don't think will ever be released but more modern rares have a higher chance of being released. The rare values system should work on demand and what people are paying for the item which is what habbox has done, end of.

However the management will catch them out eventually.

earlier a girl told me that she sold hers for 5 thrones, not sure if that is true but i decided to test it out so i put it in my shop name and what do you know? 10 minutes after im offered 150HC which is 40 hc above the habbox value

i didn't accept it, im sticking to my principles and holding out for abit more

proof though that the value is wrong

but this is exactly my point, you are basing the value on one or two trades! the fact is theres always going to be habbos who just want a quick sale or dont care that much what they get for it but that should alter the value?

you base your values on what you see, and what you see is trades that go on in the forums, and what iv noticed from using this forum is that everyone seems to go as low as possible! if a rare is valued at 5 thrones you'd offer 3 etc.. this just forces the price down more!

I don't think they would, they'd just say how "corrupt" habbox is again, lol :P. I think if Habbox put it at 1t people would buy/sell for about 1t 15, so you're kinda right, Corey. The thing with supers people like to pay less for them and people like the sell them for higher amounts :D.

Habbox Value:2T 10 hcs
HHGS Value:2T or 102 hcs
So overall its what values you choose but Habbox's oviously is pretty close to the correct value :]

If she print screened the trade, or gave us enough evidence that she sold it for 5T, then it would go up in value on Habbox. But for all you know, she could be making that up, so that it goes up in value. (We get people making up trades a lot to make us change the value!)

Three actually. Also, Supers are different than Normal Rares, as there is less of them in the hotel, and maybe two or three trades (even one) of a Super rare, is enough to change the value, depending on how many are in the hotel. And there is probably about 5-15 Venomus Habbolus in the hotel?

Who said I report the trades I see in forums? I don't ever use trades that I see on the forums? I see them purely on Habbo. I saw someone buy/sell a Venomus Habbolus for under 3T in Vintus old casino (it just had Thrones on one side and a booth)

why should 3 affect the value? logic dictates that there needs to be a majority so why are you going along with a minority?

if 10 people had sold them for that price then fair enough, but 3?!

im now refusing to take less than 280HC, its not like its a horrible rare and it isnt desired much because it is!

surely the sellers opinion on the value must be taken in to consideration?

Of course three people selling will affect the value. Not many of these are sold right so when three people decide to sell up for lower than the Habbox value then of course it needs updating. We like to base our values on the most recent trade that went through on these super rares because there's so little of them and sometimes it can be weeks even months before myself or one of my team witness a trade.

If we considered what the sellers were asking for then the values would be crazy. For example someone could ask 15T for their Sky dragon but the highest bidder doesn't go past 7T. We only base our values on actual trades that have gone through. If we did it any other way there would be major loopholes which people would abuse to higher the value of rares they owned.

If more of these begin to sell at higher values then the value on Habbox will increase. Did you just expect us to ignore the trades that were happening? I don't think so. I understand it must be very annoying when you own a rare and people begin to sell for less because they're impatient and foolish but it happens and it always will.

Seriously no one is going to pay a few T for an item which can't even used in most rooms , The higher valued supers are the ones which look good and you can show off in your Casino.

Actually these plants are the most popular super rares we've had in a long time, they are unique and normally go well as a focul point in rooms.

On the point of their value, they HAVE been going for 2T - 3T but more recently at 2T mark. More are given out which means a price drop. You arguement on the latest value is flawed as there are 50,000 Thrones which means you get the adverage, it is almost impossible to get adverages for super such as smokes, icms and plants.

Jake has just told you that because tehre isn't many. But I also said this when I mentioned three can change the value. If its 3T 25CS, and three trades are below 3T, and there is only about 10-15 in the hotel and no other trades have been done, how does it stand a chance of staying at 3T 25CS? Lol.

I sold 2 @ 2T 10 and 2T 15 last week actually.

I would say the values are spot on, good job.

OMG more accusations of the values being fixed! Values go up and down ...... you just have to trade wisely. I bought 2 gold lasers for 10T and look at them now ..... its only pixels at the end of the day.

there are 15 in circulation.

if there are around 20 and under in cirulation then the value will change everytime ONE of them is traded.

They're this big moving plant (automatically moving all the time) and its a bit ugly/creepy. I have a strong feeling it will be released one Halloween/Habboween ;) If you want to see one, Papermoon has two in her Casino.
