[Luke] Splash page concept

Hey just spent the last hour playing with photoshop and came out with this.
What ya' think? :)

Ive added it to ww.lukeslabs.com but the background takes too long to load. It's a shame really.

You keep releases design concepts of pointless things, no one wants to see splash pages or read me files. If you're actually going to design a site then show us it. Also the font looks like something from a photoshop tutorial, never looks good on a website.

Well that depends what type of site it is.
Say it's a website about safari trips or a safari/jungle game or something, it would be a good font to use.

Ohh wait, that sounds like you doesn't it.

Edit: oh also Luke, if you're gonna use a 3k x 3k image change it to .jpg and set the quality to about 6 in photoshop :)

Lol Luke, you are arguing with me when you have no legs to stand on. You look like a muppet and claim to have slept with girls when you haven't.

People care about my designs and a lot of people take interest in the websites I make. Just because none of you can ever launch a website that gets visitors doesn't mean you can try and diss my websites. Especially when they sell for a lot more than you'll ever make at Burger King.

Also MyBobba was flooded with users, it got 2000 users instantly then the host disabled the folder due to server load.

MyBobba has 2000 registered users since the advertising for the site was massive. There were tonnes of giveaways and the drop-in and help desk were both top of the list.

Plus that post was the version before we launched the whole MySpace themed site.

Also, Luke I'm moving in to my own house in a couple of months with my girlfriend. So at least my love life exists and I'm not edating to get kicks like you.

I visited it when it first launched I think and there was not 2000 users. Little under 100 maybe in 40 mins?

Ahh sorry :P But I highly doubt mybobba got over 2000 users :/ Habbox has been around for ages and I'm sure in the first few days Habbox got around 30-60 ish.

Agreed! I'm not sure what a splash page is used for but it looks pretty basic to me - this might be what they are meant to be like but I am unsure. :P
