I believe it is done normally but a glitch makes the tiles appear under the roller whereas they are stacked in front.

I could even see how he did that... Quite clever really. Well done.

is it ment to look like the rollers are stacked?

Yes, it's an illusion like Eschers waterfall.

I like the plant thing in the icm :)

Maybe put some more star tiles in the rollery bit, and the abstract posters look a bit odd. Maybe try covering the whole room with them, if you can.
